About the Speaker Mr. Vinod specializes in building a business model transformation by applying the technologies in applications areas of Process Control Instrumentation, Industrial IoT, Utilities Management by creating Products / Solutions, Technical Marketing, and Corporate Strategy for his customers. Earlier as Head - New product marketing in Forbes Marshall, he worked on launching the new products in the Indian market, many times it was a concept product and worked on marketing strategy to apply use cases to new products and improve sales in the market in coordination with the sales network. He also worked in Forbes Marshall R&D for 16 years and worked on many concept products and received expertise on complete Instrument development process, and he also developed his expertise in communication protocols such as HART, Wireless HART, Modbus, ISA100, MQTT, etc. He has also registered products for HART and Wireless HART. He has built his expertise in Boiler Efficiency and utility management by developing hardware and software products in the Industrial IoT domain.
Vinod has been an active member of the International Society of Automation (ISA) since 2008, and he holds many positions such as Secretary, Education Chair, and marketing chair for ISA Pune Section. He is also an executive committee member of ISA - Automatic Control and Robotics division (ACARD). He worked with many colleges as a guest lecturer, examiner for instrumentation & Control engineering. Vinod is a music lover and sings whenever he gets an opportunity with Karaoke, he also practices yoga and believes in a simple living style. He also loves to dialogue with young minds.
