Devices supported

Devices from multiple manufacturers can be included in the network.

Basic Command Class Support

The Gateway does not map the Basic Command Class to any functionality. It ignores Basic Set/Get requests. Basic CC is supported but the device won't perform any further action upon receiving any commands of such class.

Association Command Class Support

The Gateway supports Association Command Class. It has one association group ("Lifeline" group), only one device can be associated to this group. The Gateway will send device reset notifications to the associated device when Z-Wave network of the gateway is reset in Z-Wave network management or factory reset.

Security Command Class Support

The Gateway is a security-enabled device. When a security-enabled Z-Wave device is added to the Gateway’s network, its secure communication will be 128-bit AES encrypted in security 0/security 2.

Inclusion mode (add device)

Inclusion mode broadcasts a message from the connected home controller to nearby Z-Wave devices saying it’s ready to connect a new product.

Exclusion mode (remove device)

Exclusion mode removes a Z-Wave device from the network.

Reset Z-wave network

Resetting the controller will result in the nodes in your network being orphaned and it will be necessary after the reset to exclude and re-include all of the nodes in the network.
